CNN’s Anderson Cooper Attacked In Egypt
You know it’s getting bad when Anderson Cooper takes one to the noggin. Coop and crew were attacked by supporters of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt yesterday.
CNN’s Steve Brusk tweeted that “Anderson said he was punched 10 times in the head as pro-Mubarak mob surrounded him and his crew trying to cover demonstration.”
A CNN update said that “no one was seriously hurt” in the attack.
Al Jazeera also reported this story…you can’t just go beating on Anderson Freakin Cooper. Apparently these people don’t realize that we love Coop almost as much as Oprah. The attack came about as pro-Mubarak supporters attacked protesters calling for the Egyptian president to step down. A Washington Post reporter was also roughed up Wednesday but we are all obviously more concerned about Coop’s pretty face.
