I normally don’t pay much attention to Reese Witherspoon. I don’t mind her in movies, but as far as celebrity watching I can’t imagine anyone any more boring. She’s well on her way to becoming one of ‘those’ old Southern ladies that those of us in the newer, fresher, younger South try desperately not to become.
But she does look AMAZING in this ELLE photoshoot and I think what she says about marriage is pretty much dead-on.
Speaking to UK ELLE magazine, the Water For Elephants star said she was ‘ridiculously young’ when she and Phillippe, 36, decided to marry, two years after they met at her 21st birthday party in 1997.
She said: ‘I was so, so young. I was, like, ridiculously young. I learnt a lot, though. It was a excellent opportunity for me to really find out what it means to be a partner and to be in a marriage and it’s not anything that I thought it was. You can’t say, “I don’t want to talk about that”. You just can’t. You’ve got to talk about it all.’
